Description
We’re celebrating the classics! For our 40th anniversary, our beloved historical characters return in their signature look with accessories and a book, plus packaging inspired by the original box design. Courageous Addy Walker is determined to be free in the midst of the Civil War in 1864. Addy was released in 1993, one of the first eight dolls introduced by Pleasant Company, now American Girl.
Premium features:
- An 18″ Addy doll in a pink dress with wavy white stripes and buttons down the front, a straw bonnet with a blue calico ribbon, and a faux cowrie-shell necklace that Addy’s great-grandmother passed down to her
- She has golden hoop earrings and brown eyes and comes with her hair in a braid tied with a blue ribbon. She has a soft cotton body, and her movable head and limbs are made of smooth vinyl.
- A Meet Addy paperback book with the original cover design
Also includes:
- A pair of white cotton drawers trimmed with lace to wear under her dress, a pair of knee-high black stockings, and a pair of black lace-up boots
- An envelope with a reproduction of a half-dime Addy received from Uncle Solomon—the only money she and her mother had
